Nina Willner is a former US Army intelligence officer who served in Berlin during the Cold War, also in Moscow, Minsk and Prague promoting human rights, children’s causes.  Currently living in Istanbul, this is her first book.  It recounts the history of three generations of her family separated by forty years of Soviet rule and reunited only after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
